Windows/C/AppData/local has Opera software -inside that folder it has Opera Stable Opera folders can be found in the following locations. I then checked my computer and found numerous Opera folders that I think might be the cause of the problem? This resulted in slightly better browser speed but still very slow. I saved my user data and bookmarks when prompted. I then used the old Windows add/remove program and was surprised it was successful in removing Opera. I tried to uninstall Opera using Revo uninstaller but was notified that the Opera version I have been using is not the right one and no uninstaller was to be found? All antivirus and malware scans were all clean. I tried the basic remedies of disabling add-ons. It is horribly slow and not working properly.
